This initiative encouraging the active participation of the students, creating awareness among them about global policies and norms, and inspiring them ‘to be a part of the solution’, is indeed greatly appreciated. The youth are our future, and it is of immense importance to inculcate in them a deeper understanding of World issues, while acquainting them with government policies and schemes about the same. 

The topics included for discussion in this edition are extremely relevant in the present times. I am certain that this event will not only contribute towards developing leadership qualities in the youngsters, but will also present an opportunity to them to discover innovative and novel methods to tackle these global environmental and social issues, and find practical solutions, in the years to come.
